I went out to take pictures of our snow in the afternoon yesterday and I couldn’t believe it, the snow was almost gone. Even though it was below freezing all day yesterday the powder was so fine that the sun made quick work of it. I did manage to get a couple of pictures of Hale and one of her buddies as well as a little scenery. I posted those pictures on Flickr.
There’s not as many as I hoped to take. Between some errands, making hot dog runs for sledders, and other activity I wasn’t able to get out and about as much as I wanted. Pictures of the kids were limited. Taylor is still sulking over some recent punishment so she stayed indoors yesterday. Eventually Hale and her buddies tired out and went inside for some rest.
The day provided a much needed divide from our normal routine and I’m glad the snow gear we bought for our Quebec trip is finally getting some use.
