Hey Hey Hey, new digs.  We finally converted over to Word Press after dreaming about it for months.  Turned out not to be too much of a pain in the rear as we thought it might.  There’s still much work to be done however.  If you explore the old postings you will encounter dead links and maybe a missing photo or two.  With over 230 posts in two years, I haven’t had the time to go through each posting yet.

We have started tagging each post (still over 170 to go).  That’s one new feature you’ll notice – the tag cloud on the left sidebar.  As we tag our posts, anyone can do a quick search by tag and see all related postings.  There is still a search feature up top too for those who seek a keyword or phrase not covered in the tags or categories.

We also have pages, three to start: About, Contact, and Vote Aubie (do it every day).  We plan some additional pages here such as an Auburn links or news feed page or perhaps a BBQ feed with our recipes or others online.   Who knows?  Bottomline is we have a platform to maintain and grow content.

We liked this template primarily because of the number of columns and the photo header.  As you move through the site you will note the header images change.  Right now we have five images that rotate in the header randomly.  We’ll add more and plan to theme the site in this manner rather than change templates or color schemes with each edit.
