We’re Quakin’

0 Comments 18 April 2008

I was up early this morning doing some homework for class today when the house started to shake.  At first I thought it was an airplane but as the bar glasses above my head were rattling and the pictures on the wall were shaking I quickly figured out it was something else.  I do my homework in the bar and went upstairs to look out of the windows to see if perhaps it was a tornado (you never know), but there were no storms.

Tracey came in the kitchen moments later.  She had been woken by the bed vibrating and the mirror rattling against the wall.  Both of us realized we had ridden through an earthquake.  I did get the earthquake coverage on the house plan.

Here’s the quick CNN story.

BTW: The girls slept right through it.  No damage to humans or home.

TGIF ya’ll
